Copycat Lunch Lady Pizza

Remember when lunch ladies actually cooked the lunch? Those magnificent rectangles were the highlight of the week. Well, we've got the recipe! And it's gluten free, yet flavor full. Check back for more recipes.


Items Needed: 18x13 Sheet Pan


Ingredients:

2 2/3c All Purpose Gluten Free Flour

3/4c Non-Fat Dry Milk Powder

2T Sugar

1pkt (2 1/4t) Gluten Free Quick Rise Yeast

1t Salt

1 2/3c Warm Water

2T Vegetable Oil

1jar Pizza Sauce

8oz Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

1/2lb Italian Sausage, browned (optional)

1/2lb Ground Beef, browned (optional)


  1. Pre-heat oven to 475*F. Grease sheet pan.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, milk powder, sugar, yeast, and salt.

  3. Microwave water approximately 1 minute. Add oil.

  4. Pour water and oil mixture into flour mix. Stir with spatula until batter is formed.

  5. Spread into greased sheet pan.

  6. Bake 6-8 minutes. Remove from oven.

  7. Spread sauce. Add cheese and optional meats.

  8. Return to oven. Bake 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and beginning to brown.

  9. Slice into rectangles. Serve.
